Faculty structure

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health is one of three Faculties that comprise The University of Manchester.

Your place in the Faculty

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health consists of three Schools, each divided into six Divisions. You can view a breakdown of these Schools and Divisions on the Faculty website.

PGR programmes in each School are overseen by a PGR Director, and in the Divisions by a Senior PGR Tutor. You will be registered in the same School/Division as your main supervisor. Learn more about the duties of key PGR staff in the Faculty: Roles and responsibilities.

Within each School/Division, there are numerous research groups and centres where you will find a thriving research environment to support you during your studies.
